Representatives of all sporting and recreational clubs from across the Wattle Range Council area are encouraged to attend an information forum hosted by Wattle Range Council.
The forum will be held on Wednesday 21 June 2017 at the Civic & Arts Centre Millicent and will run from 6 pm until 7.30 pm.
“To ensure your Club receives the most up to date information and to enable Council to begin the process of long term infrastructure and grant support planning it is essential that your Club is represented on the night,” Council’s Director Development Services, Steve Chapple said.
Star Club's Field Officer Tony Elletson will speak on Star Club accreditation and membership and its impact on potential funding from a state, national and local perspective. Council’s Executive Leadership Team will discuss ways to better prepare your club’s strategic plans and project budgets. There will also be a session on grant writing basics and how to attract sponsorship.
“Any future plans your club might have for development, new initiatives, infrastructure upgrades or major projects, will need to be well prepared and structured. The presentations will enable those present to become well-informed should your club be looking at doing any projects, building works, major upgrades or seeking grant funding” Mr Chapple added.
