Expressions of interest are being sought for the Wattle Range Summer Respite Inclusion Program which is being offered again in Millicent during December 2018 and January 2019.
The respite program includes both overnight and day care options and will be offered this summer depending on the level of interest.
Unlike previous years, funding would need to be provided via either NDIS, Carers SA (non NDIS participants) or private/individual contributions.
Facilitated in the Council owned house on Skeer Street, Millicent the proposed program would include:
The Millicent home is KidSafe accredited and is equipped to offer respite to a range of people with disabilities.
There is plenty to see and do in Millicent including a free-swimming lake, Domain Mega Playground, extensive library, living history museum, the picturesque Lake McIntyre and just a short drive to pristine beaches or the Tantanoola Caves.
