Wattle Range Council is inviting residents of Penola and surrounds to a public meeting to assist in updating the Penola Community Town Plan in preparation for the commencement of the second stage of the Penola Bypass project.
Community Town Plans enable each of our diverse communities to drive their own individual strategic vision for their town and identify projects and initiatives that they would like to see progressed over the ensuing ten years.
A community information session will be held on Wednesday 13 February at the Penola Visitor Information Centre. The aim of the session, hosted by Council’s Chief Executive Officer Ben Gower, is to update Penola’s 10 year plan with the Bypass development in mind.
Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting which will run from 6 to 8.30 pm. This meeting will help to further develop the existing plan which is available to view on Council’s website at www.wattlerange.sa.gov.au/community-town-plans.
Once completed Council will be able to consider the plan as part of their long-term planning and budget strategies.
