Nominations for the 2020 Australia Day: Citizen, Young Citizen and Community Event of the Year are currently open.
Wattle Range residents are encouraged to take a moment and consider nominating those that make a difference in our community.
The Australia Day Awards reward and recognise individuals and organisations that have made a noteworthy contribution or given outstanding service to their local community.
Their outstanding contribution and community service could be in areas such as education, health, fundraising, charitable and voluntary services, business, sport, arts, the environment, or any other activity that contributes to the advancement and well-being of a community.
Wattle Range Council Mayor, Des Noll invited the community to be involved: “In each of our four Council wards there are remarkable individuals who have worked tirelessly to make our communities a better place.
Nominations from our community are essential in making the awards successful. Each year Council invites the community to identify and nominate individuals or organisations who have made a significant contribution to Wattle Range,” Mayor Noll advised.
Nomination for the Awards are now open in the Corcoran, Kintore, Riddoch and Sorby Adams Wards for:
